Sonic alert was made for everyone, but especially for people that may be hearing impaired. The company created their products for their grandmother about 30 years ago since she could not hear.
I had the opportunity to review the Sonic-connect 2 SEC2000. With the Sonic-alert it is a portable USB device that can alert the users to Skype, for e-mails, Featuring Instant messaging services, and MS Outlook calendar & task reminders. It also connects very easily on to your computer and when you receive a new message it will go off.
I set mine up to alert me with my emails. Every time I would receive a new email address it would light up. This product is great and will help you know when you receive new e-mails all the time!
